Gate Repair in Fort Worth, TX — Same-Day Service
Fort Worth splits three ways for gate work. West of downtown — Arlington Heights, Ridglea Hills, Westcliff and Wedgwood — the housing is largely post-war, and a good share of the operators on those driveways are twenty years old or more, which makes a control board or a limit adjustment the likely repair rather than a new unit.

Gate repair in Fort Worth
Fort Worth splits three ways for gate work. West of downtown — Arlington Heights, Ridglea Hills, Westcliff and Wedgwood — the housing is largely post-war, and a good share of the operators on those driveways are twenty years old or more, which makes a control board or a limit adjustment the likely repair rather than a new unit.
Push out past Loop 820 into the 76126 and 76179 zip codes and the lots turn into acreage: those gates usually run from a battery kept topped up by a solar panel, so a gate that has slowed down is a charging question before it is an operator question. North toward Alliance the work is commercial — yard entrances, distribution gates and apartment entrances cycling hundreds of times a day, where a chain wears out in a season rather than a decade.
Those are three different diagnoses, and we do not approach them the same way.
What we see most in Fort Worth

Gate Operator Brands We Repair
We fix the operators nobody else wants to touch. Most gate companies replace the whole operator because diagnosing it is harder than selling you a new one. We repair control boards, limit switches, hydraulic pumps and gearboxes on all of these — and every tile below is a photograph of that manufacturer’s equipment, not a logo.

Fort Worth gate repair questions
My gate lined up fine last year and now it catches. Nothing was touched.
The post moved, not the gate. A geotechnical report the city publishes for a north Fort Worth site estimates the local clay can rise and fall by roughly three to eight and a half inches as its moisture changes, and a gate post set in that ground goes with it. Re-hanging the gate and correcting the post is considerably cheaper than the operator replacement the resulting strain often gets blamed on.
Hail came through and the gate stopped responding. Is the operator finished?
Usually not. Fort Worth gets genuinely severe hail — the 1995 Mayfest storm put softball-sized stones across the city — and what it damages is the exposed hardware: photo-eyes, an antenna, a solar panel, or the board inside an enclosure that has been cracked or let water in. Every one of those is an individual part, and we quote them individually.
Do you cover the acreage properties west of Loop 820?
Yes, and they are a distinct kind of call. Out there the gate is typically a long single leaf on a battery-and-solar operator at the end of a driveway, where a failure locks in a whole property rather than one car. We test the battery under load and the panel output before touching the operator, because that is where the fault usually is.
